The Sombornes Preschool opened in September 2011. We provide exceptional care and education for children aged 2 years to statutory school age. We are Ofsted registered and can accommodate a maximum of 30 children for 38 weeks a year. 
 

We offer play-based learning in a relaxed and nurturing environment. As an independent, Ofsted-registered preschool, we proudly support families in Kings Somborne, Little Somborne, Up Somborne, and the surrounding villages. 
 

Our semi-rural location allows us to take advantage of a fenced outdoor space, and we are lucky enough to be able to use the nearby playing fields for various activities, including nature walks, visits to the park, sports, and other outdoor experiences. Our primary focus is to create a safe and secure environment for children to learn through play both inside and outside. 
 

We are committed to ensuring that all children, regardless of their backgrounds, abilities, or needs, feel included and valued. Inside our preschool building, you will find a warm and welcoming atmosphere, adorned with displays of the children's creations and photographs. We offer a wide range of engaging activities designed to interest and motivate every child. 

We also have strong connections with the local primary school to provide a good transition for children entering Year R.  
 

The preschool is a registered charity run by a committee of volunteers.
